We organized a Symposium on the “Cell biology of emerging viral infections” at the HZI in Braunschweig.

The symposium covered different aspects of viral cell biology, with sessions planned on pathogenesis, structural biology and viral genetics. Each session was started by an invited speaker followed by short presentations of selected abstracts.
